I'm asking you guys who all said "no".

Show me your top 10 list (SMW i assumed).

Show me 10 guys that Jermain Taylor could'nt beat.

Not saying you are wrong but please, back up your "no he's a bum".

Maybe if there is a light - punching fighter, not too fast fighter in the top ten, he could beat him. I don't ever see him beat any good puncher or anyone with speed, Kessler, Green, Abraham, Froch, Dirrell, Bute, Ward and Pavlik if he goes up in weight would all give him a terrible beating.

All six guys currently in the tournament. Bute, Andrade, Pavlik, Daniel Jacobs. There's at least 10 that would most likely beat him right now.

Of that list i Just posted, I'd give him a chance to beat Dirrell, Andrade, Jacobs and Pavlik since it looks like he's faded as well, but I'd make them all the favorites over Taylor.

Pavlik has Taylo's number, cellphone, email and shoe size. He beat the undefeated champion Taylor, the damaged version with four losses in five fights is easy for him. Pavlik has one decision loss to an ATG, taylor has three Ko losses, no comparison in how faded they are.

I'm a Taylor fan and I hope he retires for good. He's too good a guy to take any more punishment.

His days of making the really big money are over, so hopefully he can now just focus on living the good life or becoming a trainer, opening a gym or something.

Retirement is hard for these guys, but I hope he's able to stay away from fighting again.

Jermaine is very flawed, he never learned how to deal with guys his own size, Wink and Ouma both backed him up, but luckily they were undersized, add the terrible finishing ability and its no wonder why JT has come up short in recent performances.

5 think people have been too hard on Jermain Taylor even when he was champion. Is he as good as he used to be? No he is not. His biggest probblem is that he lacks stanimia. Other than than that he is a very good boxer.

No. JT doesn't like boxing. He stated that if he had a choice between watching a classic fight or a soap opera, he would always choose the soap opera. He's a talented fighter, however, you can tell he never really liked boxing, he was one upper cut away from finishing Pavlik and he never threw it. I don't think he knew to throw it. Also, against Froch he should've tackled him or spit his mouth piece out-anything, to finish the fight. These are little tricks of the trade that he should've learn in the amateurs.
