Khan calls out maidana

Maindana has power, but that's all he has. Khan has the power and speed to blitz Maidana and knock him out very early. I think Amir would know Maidana out within 3 rounds in a non-competitive fight.

 

Props to Amir for saying that he wants the fight. Cockroach might not want the fight for Khan because of the fact that he could get knocked by Maidana, but at least Khan really wants to test himself against the guy who people think he has nightmares about like he is Freddy Krueger

 

It's amazing how underrated Maidana is.

People claim he has a glass jaw.....Yea he got dropped by Ortiz...then got back to his feet...then a second later put Ortiz right on his back. He was later KD again but rose to his feet then beat the living **** out of ortiz to the point where he flat out quit.

Maidana is a ****ing beast and is one of the best at 140. He is a tough fight for anybody and is a very exciting crowd pleasing fighter.

 

Khan made Ortiz quit in the amateurs with big gloves and headgear.

 

Do as Khan said; Maidana/Khan - Bradley/Alexander - winners fight eachother.

 

Id like to see Kahn take on Ortiz or Bradley next. Even though I think Kahn can outbox Maidana its not a fight id like to see. Plus irrespective of what Kahn says GBP and Roach are master fight makers. Maidana is a low reward high risk fight. No sense in making it.

 

Talk is cheap.

 

Khan will really have to be on his bike for 12 rounds to win vs. Maidana. He'll have to stick the jab and circle around Maidana all night. Seriously, I don't think Khan can avoid Maidana for 12 whole rounds with the kind of pressure Maidana brings. Sure, Khan will outbox Maidana in the early rounds. He'll even make Maidana look foolish at times, likely winning every round... until he gets caught in the mid-to-late rounds and then finished shortly thereafter.

You can't teach chin. Freddy Roach is not stupid. Maidana is all wrong for Khan.

Only Khan wont get credit because Maidana wont land a single clean shot to Khan's chin

 

Huge props if Khan fights Maidana. I think he along with Alexander are the toughest matches for Khan at 140.

The guy is the #1 contender (interim champion) and lost a controversial SD to the former champion, why shouldn't he be deserving? :huh

 

he doesnt need to go 12 rounds he could get a stoppage , maidana's chin isn't as great as malignaggi's. i agree you cant put muscle on a chin that would look obscene
