Khan for once said it like it should be. He can face Maidana. Alexander and Bradley can face. Winner vs winner.

As his next fight is in the UK im pretty sure it'll be against Prescott.

Prescott is mediocre but Khan often looks very nervous to begin with and he'll be shitting himself before this one given the history so it might be very interesting.

Yeah Prescott really is a very average fighter, but in the opening rounds he just goes all out and could give anyone fits really, let alone Khan.

It's funny because I give Khan a decent chance against Maidana, Ortiz, even Bradley, but when I picture Prescott coming out the blocks going gung ho on that chin, I just start having doubts.

Prescott almost has nothing to lose really. He's one of the few people who can afford to go gung ho right from the beginning.

If hes fighting in July then a learning fight would be wise to prepare him for Maidana...

    Murray anyone???

I mentioned this possibility earlier his morning in the Choi thread and it makes complete sense, IMO. Murray is free and would jump at the chance to finally fight Khan and he won't have to have the trouble of making 135 in just a few months as the fight would naturally be at 140. The fight is marketable over here and I'm sure a TV station would snap it up straight away. Murray is durable and is perfect preperation for Khan's one-sided beatdown of Maidana (Khan is going to school him big time) and it also gives Khan the chance to settle the 'Khan didn't fight the best in his own country before he stepped up' brigade.

Makes complete sense for the end of July IMO as well. Hope Hennessy and GBP make it happen:good.

Seen on the General that Schaeffer's being quoted as saying he wants Khan-Katsidis next. Do it!!

I think that's just Schaefer getting a bit excited. Imagine what Frank would say if Khan beat him so soon after the Mitchell fight, though:lol:. I wouldn't wish a fight in another weight class so soon on Kats after how hard he's worked recently either. Let the lad have a rest and hopefully get JMM and a shitload of money after JMM beats Diaz (for what it's worth, the WBO 'ordered' the fight again):deal.

The Murray fight makes complete sense and it's my next bet:yep:deal. The only other marketable fight in such a short timeframe is a Prescott rematch.
