success at an early age does not equal early prime. the guy had barely stopped growing for gods sake and he was already ahead of most. with another decade of physical prime to work with, im sure he would have improved mentaly and technicaly.

False?Actually,consider what you wrote.Of course he had a lot of top notch experience by the time of his death,but how can you honestly claim for certain that he was in an "early prime" ala Benitez and Tyson?Unlike the other 2 you mentioned,he was a disciplined machine,not a headcase party animal like those two.It was said at the time that his only vice was fast cars-his undoing.By the way,he died in the Stutz Bearcat that Don King bought for him.And in his last fight against Azumah,he was absolutely brilliant.There is no basis whatsoever in you claim that he was in his early prime and your comparison with Tyson and Benitez has no merit whatsoever.But,we'll never know for certain,will we?
