This fight would have been an absolute war & something I'd have loved to have seen before Valero went off the deep end. How does ESB see it going? Certainly wouldn't go the 12 rounds. I think Valero lands some of his big power shots & cuts Katsidis up, winning in about 7-8 but not before being tested himself. I know a fair amount of posters don't like Valero being using in fantasy matches but it'd be a ridiculous fight with neither guy taking a backwards step.
valero would have stopped katsidis very late on that is,it would have bin a classic but valero`s work rate would have bin too much,
Valero's best win was a dominating performance over a very green gunshy DeMarco. I'm not sure how Valero would of done vs. a true world class fighter like a Funeka, Katsidis, or Juan Diaz. I think both were brave and Valero was more aggressive in the ring than Katsidis, but Katsidis would of been easily as strong as Valero and Valero had never fought anyone he couldn't push around the ring. It also depends if Katsidis decides to box or war with Valero, but eventually Valero would get to him. I think Valero definitely would get dropped by Katsidis at somepoint, but Katsidis would fall to Valero's determination and pressure in the end. Katsidis very brave, reminiscent of Gatti, but Valero fought like a man possessed and I think he was very good, but not great, at what he did in the ring.
