Good skills bro i've missed the British fight scene since i moved back south, it's just not the same here.
I would have loved to have been their for the Upton Park show, supporting Kev and having a catch up with the fights and the likeminded fans.
It was a win/win for me on Saturday night because me and Kat own the same coloured passport and i'm a Mitchell fan.
Anyway mate cheers for posting up the vid and picture of the D and G flat cap, hope you're well and tell Strike and Doyley i said GDay.
And i've seen Jack Dempsy in this thread as well so GDay to you too mate.:thumbsup

Back, erm, around 35 hours now!!

I always knew that Katsidis would be too good for Mitchell but, if I'm being honest, I didn't think it would be over that quickly. Mitchell should hang around European level because he is nowhere near World level.

Degale, as much as I dislike him, looked very impressive.

The atmosphere was, I thought, quite poor and this was due to Upton Park not being suitable to boxing. I don't expect a great view for the money I paid but the stand was too far back from the pitch and he should have waited a week, or 2, for the O2. Judging from the estimates of around 15,000 attendees, the O2 would have been more than capable of hosting it.

As mentioned by others, there were too many idiots present. We were in the West Stand Lower and as soon as the Mitchell fight was stopped, rightfully so in my opinion, the amount of beer glasses being thrown was disgraceful. I'm not sure I will attend another Waren show where the fighter's football allginance is used to promote the fight because they attract too many pricks.

I thought Katsidis would take him in 6-8 rounds. How wrong I was.

There was a lot of helmets there. I wouldn't claim most of them to be football or boxing fans. Just local herberts who think there might be a bit of bother. Luckily the early finish done us a favour getting out of there. Went straight up Shoreditch with the missus and enjoyed myself.

Had decent seats though. Literally few rows back from the ring. £80 and the row in front was £150.
