We are moving in opposing circles, apparently never to intersect.

Let me try a different, indeed more elemental tact-- Khan does not possess the defensive craft to avoid getting tagged by Maidana at least once or twice in a twelve round affair.

You, however, seem to think he does. I do not, and I think therein lies the fundamental contrast.

We both agree on the end result if he does, do we not?

 

Khan can defenitely outboxed maidana but like you said he has a puncher's chance and that's all you need against khan weak chin.

Maidana is tough as nails, can take a punch and knock out out. He is feared.

 

Punch power and will. His chin is a lil strange in that he gets dropped often but can come back from multiple knockdowns and still win. Add to that that he has very good stamina and a very solid workrate, as in the Kotelnik fight. These attributes alone make him very dangerous to any1.


Pure brawlers with heart and chin sometimes do beat the slicksters. It's not like slicksters with "skills" get an automatic W when fighting brawlers with chins. I don't know what's so hard to understand about such a plainly obvious fact.

I kinda feel like GBP treats Maidana like the red headed step child.

*No matter what he will do GBP will not see it as good enough for them. And they are willing to feed him to the wolves first before they feed Khan.

He would knock out Khan. Khan is too soft at this stage in his career and not ready for top 140 lbs'er out there.
