Dariusz fought over a dozen years only in Germany, defended his belt for 9 years, with wins over Hill, Griffin, Hall or Graziano.Calzaghe fought in Britain and went to US for 2 fights

DM hadn't face Roy Jones jr.Probably because he hadnt got chances with prime RJJ.But also Calzaghe, with prime Roy Jones from 90s- early 00s would lose badly.

DM was great Calzaghe was great. Joe went to USA and beat 2 old legends

I think, if DM was younger he would win with Roy in 2008 just like Calzaghe did. With Hopkins Joe won not so comfortably and same scenario i predict for DM

For me Calzaghe and Michalczewski are quite similar facing them prime for prime

Nah prime Dariusz was a stud. Dude was a thousand times the fighter that Joe was. Even near the end of his career, resume aside, he chose to take some risks. Joe on the other hand refused to take ANY risks.

Id also add to the fact that I belive Michalczewski would also more than likley of whiped any version of Calzaghe at 175.

DM is really underrated by a lot of people. I actually wouldn't have minded if DM and RJJ met each other in their past prime state just to settle that debate.

Back in the early 2000's it was the fight that everyone wanted. Naturally Jones because of the Korea debacle refused to travel abroad. Equally Dariusz who was selling out at home didnt need to go to the US when he was making $1m per fight and filling arena's. Dam shame as back then 75 was a wasteland apart from Jones and D.

DM, Joe and RJJ had similar careers in their prime - they defend their belts at home against decent fighters.

Just the americans only rate the one they saw on TV all the time.

He had to be making more than a million because when I was in Germany in 2001 they were profiling him and stated he was worth in the area of 65 or 75 million euros.

And ts not just that either, DM also owned or maybe even still owns, a gym, a bar/club and even back then he would even be on TV Commercials and even Music Videos! Even without boxing he was making good dough.

Joe couldn't be beaten, no one came close, shot Joe smashed prime hop who was p4p 3 at the time, and ring magazine 1 lhw, add to it he moved up and fought on foreign soil.

Joe smashed near prime RJJ, who proved in his fight against Calzaghe, he had one great fight left in him, but RJJ best was nowhere near shot Calzaghe.

Green Joe smashed prime Eubank Prime Joe smashed prime Lacy ruining him, and near shot Joe smashed and ruined prime Kessler.

Who did Hop beat? Journey man weight drained Johnson? or blown up ww's? his best win was against top 10 p4p undisputed champ and undefeated Pavlik, who ducked Joe twice, dawson ducked Joe, Toney, Collins, Johnson, 02 version of Hop and so called ''prime'' RJJ.

Calzaghes legacy is secure, anyone hating on him is just ******ed, Runtlings has a race problem anyway, notice he uses fraud Mosley who had 4 good wins in 21 years, then complains about Clazaghes resume lmao, hes a racist.

I made my point, this thread deserves nothing else.

you didn't make anything. This whole post has nothing to do with the topic at hand. We are talking about Calzaghe and DM, and your bringing up Hopkins and Roy Jones.....
