Could happen and would sell-out for sure. The O2 Arena, London would probably get that fight.

This is what I posted in another thread. It makes more sense. I don't know why all of a sudden the Khan mania and wanting to throw him to the lions so quick. He is doing okay so far as a JWW.

Khan has the ingredients to dominate the 140 division.
He has the beating of the other leading light-welts imo.
You're right in the sense that Khan shouldn't be thrown into these big fights just yet, despite him saying he wants to fight Maidana etc etc now.
He's still only 23, he's still learning his trade, he's becoming more tuned in upstairs and the hype surrounding him should be intensified because he does have a bright future ahead of him. Roach has even said that Khan has the makings of being pacquiao's successor!

"should fight" and who I would like him to fight are two different things.

He should fight Maidana but I would like him to fight Bradley.

I'm okay with Katsidis and Prescott.

People love to see a rising star, and someone who seems genuinely enthusiastic about taking on the best at his division. Combined with his relative youth, it makes him an exciting fighter for the sport.

If the Maidana fight can't be made, Katsidis or Bradley (my choice) should be next.

I'm going with Marquez. Marquez is aging fast. I'd say fight with Khan before you lose your skills then you can retire with a good win over Khan. :p

Ortiz. The boy is the same age but he showed flashes of pure brilliance against Maidana, just didn't have the heart that night. I think a rematch against Maidana and we'd see how overrated Maidana is, Ortiz would school him!

No way! Despite Marquez being a MUCH better fighter than Khan, I could only see this ending in a wide UD for Khan. The height/reach advantage would be too great and Khan would just stick and move.

Khan doesn't deserve to use a future hall of famer as a stepping stone.

Too late, Barrera already bit that bullet

But Marquez needs to stay at 135, he got bullied by Diaz in the early portions of their fight, and that to me suggests its as high up as he can go, physically. Even Nacho didnt want any part of Khan at the higher weight.

I went for Kats as Maidana is injured isn't he? Khan-Kats would sell very well in the UK in July and a world level proven banger to test khan, granted he a lightweight but cant see 5lbs up ****ing him up at all, a legit fight for khan.

Maidana is hype IMO, khan embarasses and abuses him at range then KO/TKO by rds 8/9, still want to see it though, Maidz has a punchers chance...

Maidana. Maidana s a good fighter- but limited- he ll never be a real star. Bradly, Alexander have the potential to be huge stars- but arent quite there yet. they should set that fight up properly- let both fighters build their names up - then have it- so it can be as big as it can be- and as good as it can be.
just as if Floyd and Pac fought 3 years ago itd be a small fight- some good things take time. of course the risk is- as we saw with cotto floyd- ( which top rank tried to build up and setup for years- pitting cotto against common opponents- which hatton also did, i.e castillo ) it can sometimes fall apart.
