This would be a decent fight for Khan. Urangos a huge puncher but limited and could be a good fight for Amir.
I wouldn't call Urango a HUGE puncher Agressive yes huge puncher no That being said a pretty interesting matchup however Amir should be past these kind of match ups if he's serious about mixing up the division
Past these types of match ups? :huh Urango was just recently the IBF title holder, where do you think Khan is? If Khan took a fight like this it would make me a fan. Urango isn't elite but he's a tough fight for Khan, strong puncher with an come forward style. This fight would certainly dismiss all questions about his durability.
Colombians might be Khans kryptonite so he should stay away from Prescott, Urango, and Torres. But seriously Khan would probably outbox him easily if he can stay away from Urangos right hooks.
Your entitled to your opinion and i respect that however i think Katsidis or Maidana should come next for Khan
Well Maidana is out for a while Katsidis is only a LW, he'll get criticized for taking on a smaller man. Urango would get him a lot of respect, tough style for Khan, good reach, good punch on him. They wont go for that though, but Urango is certainly in Khan's league at the moment, there's no question otherwise.
If he beat Urango, people will say Urango was finished after the Alexander fight, that's the nature of the beast.
This would do, a guy who could hurt him and will test those whiskers but assuming Amir can take the shots he should be able to control. it needs to be one of the big names in the division after that tho
Prescott rematch is the only thing I would want to see. No more fighting little guys who have no power.
Urango would be a really acid test. Good Chin Good punch pressure fighter - but Khan would have to beat him better than alexander did or the knifes would be out in style. Khan has time on his side - he should use it take good quality meaningful learning fights. Urango just might be too much at this stage give him a couple of more fights and see what happens
