the thing is, if you watch several of Pac's fights from 1997 to 2001, you'll see that although he is technicall and strategically very poor, Pac is a raw talent. That fight against Singsurat to me sticks out like a sore thumb. And its not like he was being his usual agressive self and got caught by a big punch, Pac was pushed back and dominated from the first second.
yeah man i seen pac around that time. he does look really fragile and weak in there. i have no idea what the tactics are about though..
Tyson, SRR, Joe Louis, Hagler, SRL, Hearns, Ali, Duran, Lewis, Liston are all bums!! They all have losses. You people on here are so ****ing funny.
Manny also didn't have any amateur background. If you guys think that doesn't mean anything, I don't know what else to say.
He was hurting with every little punch that he received. You can watch the vid I posted on page 2 of this thread. If I'm not mistaken, he eventually was able to go down to around a pound or two above the 112 weight limit, during that official weigh-in. Still unable to make the official 112 pound limit. They stripped him of his title because of that. Pac wins = Vacant title Singsurat wins = new champ He was just totally spent and dehydrated, when he entered the ring.
Exactly he became p4p #1 after Floyd retired. He will never been p4p#1 while Floyd is boxing. He wasnt before Floyd retired and he is not since Floyd has come back. Pacquiao will always be number 2 or 3 or 4 if Mayweather is boxing. :hi:
I don't think Pac will beat Floyd, but can you honestly tell me that this guy looks like the Pac of today? This guy looks like a bum.
dodging my post again. Ain't no way that someone who is not elite can win titles at 112, 122, 126, and 130 and KTFO Barrera and Morales! Pac did all that before he even stepped in the ring with Diaz. And three of those titles were lineal and against elite fighters in their primes flip-flopper.
He was not at his best, physically and health wise at the very least, in that Thailand title defense. Honestly, I have followed his fights since the start, and back then, I always wondered what he was doing to hurt his opponents that badly? For a second, I seriously thought that he might be loading up his wraps or maybe had a sneaky thumbing technique to his punches or something. He could hurt his opponents, bad. Even the bigger, wider, more muscular ones. I guess some people are just born with great snap in their punches.
I mean his technique is amateurish. His skill has improved dramatically since this fight. It's not even close.
