    He is an awesome MMA fighter but in a boxing match he would not even compete with a half decent club fighter.

    I dont see what is so funny a shot Journeyman like Monte Barrett would spank him and ko him within 2 rounds in a boxing match. So would any top amatuer heavyweight.

    Im a fedor fan, but he punches like any other MMA fighter, Wide and slow.. he would be destroyed by any top ranking boxer

    Im thinking you dont know the difference between someone with limited or no boxing background vs someone who does it for a living.

    My feeling on boxers in MMA is that if the boxer lands his punch b4 the MMA fighter takes them to the ground he wins like Mercer Sylvia. But if an MMA guy gets the boxer down and puts him in a hold the boxer probably doesnt know how to get out and they lose

    yeah absolutely he would loose to a lower level boxer... their boxing in mma is entirely different and they have to also be prepared for kicks and take downs so its different entirely and his punches will be way too wide for someone that has been boxing all their life no matter if its a journey man level or not.

    I dont know why the dudes acting like its a bad thing to say about fedor, its not. Hes a good striker in his sport but its entirely different circumstances so what works well in one wont work well in the other.

    Serena Williams would still likely loose to some state level raquetball champion in that sport even though she is world level in a sport that looks similar at first glance.
