Only thing Mosley proved in that bout is that fighters can get away with 35 clinches a round with the right ref.

It was already impressive that he fought Cotto, DLH, Hatton and Clottey. If he competed and crushed those guys then the rest shouldn't intimidate him at all. He moved up because he wanted to and because he knew he can make it up there.

Pac's people are not as confident about him destroying Floyd as the mental midgets that post about Pac here 24/7. How do I know this? All I need to know is that Pac's advisers are not mentally ******ed. Being they are normal or above average IQ people, that know boxing, they know their guy is heading into deep waters. It wouldn't surprise me if they dodge the fight.

Roach tried to get a fight with Void right after Pac stopped Hatton, then again after he stopped Cotto. Void, Sr. said that he did not want Void, Jr. to fight Pac. He said that right after Pac stopped Cotto, thus all the lies. Pac wants that fight, but Void does not make the rules of boxing even though Void is a legend within his own mind.

He won't fight them because he is a chicken. Pac only fights brawlers.

Margarito is the "perfect" matchup because he is slow, one dimensional, and uses his face for defense.

    Pac is a joke!

Nah if Manny doesn't fight Floyd it'll most likely be Floyd's left overs. Probably a 40 year old Shane Mosley, maybe Andre Berto or most likely Antonio Margarito.

Don't know why Cotto would want a rematch with Manny. It wasn't the size differences, it was the styles, the speed and the gameplan. Cotto's got it wrong and was outworked by Manny. Cotto doesn't keep a cool head either which went against him.

I couldn't imagine 6'3 Williams against a midgit like Pacquiao. Would be one hell of a fight but Williams wouldn't use his height to his advantage.. he's a brawler! Martinez could school Manny though but I really can't see Manny moving up to 154

This is boxing....every fighter carefully selects their opponents especially early on in their careers but also in some cases...even later in their careers. Manny without a doubt has one of the most CHALLENGING resumes in the last 8 yrs than anyone in this sport. If Manny has a "questionable" decision against JMM so be it....Floyd too has a couple of questionable decisions...Most Fighters have them.

If Floyd beats Manny it's a great win and I'm sure there will be some who say he was over rated...but there's no denying his greatness. The big question is what IF....Manny beats the dog **** out of Floyd...how will Floyd's legacy be affected...I'm sure the same way PAC's Legacy would if he lost to Floyd.:yep

People seem to be neglecting this minor tidbit. It's for this reason I think Margarito is making a mistake by rejecting a fight with Martinez. He and Sergio could probably fill a stadium in Mexico. Instead he rather put his eggs in one basket and hope that he not only gets a States' license but that the Pac-May fight fails to materialize and that Arum can persuade Pac to settle to fight with him.

High octane fire fight, for sure. Pac will have to be at his best to conquer Tony.

Please. Margarito isn't making a mistake. Ali fought in Manila against a Black man and it was a mega event. IMHO Pac's status in PI is on par or greater than Ali's was at that time. He could no doubt sell the fight there. Arum won't let Manny fight FMJ.

High octane? Yeah if you mean flatulence (methane). What the hell has Margarito done to deserve a fight? How did his last top level WW fight end? You would have to be pretty dense not to see through the smokescreen being bellowed by Uncle Bob and Team Pac.

Of course not....they know the challenge Floyd presents and they've been very vocal about it. On the flip side Floyd and his team also know that Floyd is NOT going to destroy Manny no matter what they say to the media....How do I know this? Simple.....actions speak louder than words and with this kind of money if Floyd was as confident as his mouth would indicate the fight would have been done and over with and there wouldn't have been any talk of PEDs or Olympic style demands just to get the fight made. Many feel Floyd "dodged" the fight with his actions and demands. I'm not 100% sure but it's questionable given the fight didn't come off.
