Of course its a rip off but its a welcome option imo its a rip off because no other sport makes you pay that much to see one event unless you are in the audience. Take other supposed niche sports snooker darts all motor racing athletics how many people would pay £5-£10-£15 to watch these events? Probably about as many if not less than the boxing events get. Thats where the problem lies

At least you have the option to watch fights you normally wouldn't.

    Too much moaning sometimes.

in aussie they had to pay bout £30 for the mitchell katsidis fight and bout £40 for the mundane and greene fights. in america u gota pay bot $50 or $60 for the HBO fights so we got it quite cushdy really altho it wud be nice to see undercard fights im just happy we got a new channel for boxing who seem to be growing gradually

If primetime are worth their salt they will have people watching these forums, in which case it would be helpful if someone came on and clarified for us..

Froch v Kessler was my first time using them and apart from the pishy undercard action you've all mentioned I was preasantly surprised with the quality, I'm gonna have the klit fight too 5.95 is pretty good.

Dunno mate, Setanta challanged for that title. There were a number of big fights that didnt get shown for a large number of viewers.

One reason was 'cause a guy at setanta didnt flick a switch on before he left work that night'

It really was amatuer hour but I suppose the channel was still good for the sport

I didn't think Setanta were too bad. Would love a new Steve Bunce's boxing hour. I do remember the Pac Barrera fight being a nightmare though, cutting out from around round 7 to 11.

Can't please all of the people all of the time. The under cards might be crap, or even non existent, but you generally pay a lot less with Primetime than you do for Sky Sports pay per view cards, which are not guaranteed to provide much better in terms if under card fights.

    Keep the fights coming . . . .

im sorry but sky you pay 15 pound and are usually garunteed the main event and atleast 3 fights form the undercard, good or bad. and i can watch and record it in hd.

primetime you get to watch a standard definition and only get the main event. what if there was a first minute knockout, and you pay 15 pound just for that

I really enjoyed the Puerto Rican double header they had. I was working sunday morning so brought a repeat yesterday, and for £5.95 it was pretty good. I'd happily pay that for cards like that. I'm hoping they pick up the Latin Fury card with Duddy v Chavez Jnr and Barrera later this month as well.
