Fedor but alistair is no joke. He has good stand up and pretty good ground game but we're talking about fedor here so i gotta go with fedor.

    Fedor is still the man.

Unless I see a marked decline in performance during the Werdum fight, I've got to pick him.

Fedor is going to to win. He's just a smarter fighter overall. Overeem may have more power, but all it takes is one tiny mistake and Fedor will capitalize on it like he always does

Overeem has to keep the fight standing up. He has the strength good balance from Muay Thai to MAYBE be able to fight off some trips and throws Fedor has, but only situationally, the sorts of trips and takedowns Fedor tends to rely on are based on quickness, his own balance and leverage.. These are things that are you basically can't use strength against, compared to a double leg which you can strength and reaction out of via a stuff.. You aren't going to strength out of a trip, or hip toss, but you can balance or be wary and fast enough of it to recognize and step over to counter, you might be able to strength out of or into superior positioning for a body lock.

Fedor still holds a ton of advantages regardless of how much he is out strengthed.

Overeem has a great form of ground and pound using knee strikes from the side mount, which is completely countered by Fedor's active guard.. Good ****ing luck getting side mount on Fedor.

Overeem has great striking and a reach advantage, which he needs to maintain to keep Fedor at range.. Strategy for him should be to maintain distance, pelt Fedor from range, and expect lunging left hooks and right crosses.

I really THINK Overeem could win considering how much damage he can inflict quickly, but he needs to be sharp and not make one mistake.

If he falls for a feint and gets taken down, its over.. If he tries to get aggressive from the mount, its over..

    Fedor wins via Overeems mistakes.
