I did not know this. If it is true that Roach is no nonsense and straight up, he will let everyone know if the kid is for real. Chavez, Jr. looked kind of like Oscar here for a minute. If Chavez, Jr. sticks with the four weeks of training with Roach, I believe he will beat and stop Duddy.

Read that a couple of days ago. That's pretty interesting considering there are many great MX trainers Jr had to choose from. But I think it's gonna be a great move and relationship. The kid is good....I don't think mentally he's as strong as his pops but he's got some great physical advantages and solid skills. Lets see if Roach can highlight and bring out his full potential as he did with Khan and Pac.

I seen him in the gym last week. He's got some power behind those punches, I think he stops Duddy as well.

I think Chavez Jr is good enough to win a title. I don't think hes great like his dad.

Ok, what's up with Roach picking up another fighter? It seems I hear another name every couple of weeks.

Ya, he does seem to get a high volume of fighters. That's the reason Rigondeaux doesn't want to work with him.

He looked ugly in the last fight I saw him in, and it was against poor opposition. I don't understand why he's moved up from 130 where he began his career, all the way up to 160. I feel like if he was fighting around 140 or even 147, he would be big enough to whoop ass at 6 ft with a 73" reach.
