Smashing Gatti to a bloodied pulp i watch it every now and again and cant help but be in laughter as gatti is pounded on
being there with all the gatti fans talking all that **** before the fight. hahahaha....nah everytime i watch the fight i remember the horrified and shocked faces i saw around me. it was a beautiful night. whats funny is they sound just like the hatton fans today...and they'll be just as loud, and make the same effect on the fight as they did in the Gatti encounter.
it is amazing to wach pbf and what he can do he throws combos and stands in the pocket but i hate to watch it bc gatti just got beat down bad
The fight was actually a bit too hard to watch in the end. Gatti showed a HUGE hart but a huge hart with no skill ain't gonna win you the fight. They should have stopped it a tad earlier.
Clubfighter? Give the guy some credit, he's undefeated, fought and won in America, beat an ATG for the title, defended against JLC and Maussa...to say he cliches is incorrect, he's usually working on the inside and the cliches are instigated by the opponent as often as not to try to nullify the body attack (see the JLC fight) If you think he''ll lose to Mayweather fair enough but at least give the bloke some props for what he's achieved, far more than more than a 'clubfighter'.
Hatton could have outboxed or outfought Gatti if he wanted to so drop the comparisons they are daft like the posters that spew them.
You get different types of boxing fans---I Prefer and collect exciting bouts be they boxer vs fighter or any other mix---but mismatches ---noways, they can't be stopped soon enough for me ---you know my man some fans are extreme --**** like Hamed taunting apponents as he beats them up----Tyson matched against Hurricane Mc Neely--could've killed him-lucky his corner jumped in after 90secs of the 1st round----thats not the boxing I enjoy----
Floyd fighting Chico Corrales---now that was great ---Chico outgunned but showing real guts --going down 3 times to punches he did'nt seem to see---stoppage by his dad at the right time--R.I.P.
