:good Wlad would school Vitali. Vitali's low hands, lean back style would be useless against a tall talented fighter like Wlad. That is why Lennox was able to rip vitali's eye into shreds.

Wlad. Vitali's more past his physical peak at this point.

As far as I've seen Vitali's only defence involves leaning away from punches with his superior size, that'd NEVER work here. He'd probably last the distance though, plus it'd be interesting to see if Wlad's stamina could hold up (he'd be working harder here than any of his recent fights).

I think the mental aspect would trump the physical one in this matchup. Who knows who was the dominant brother in the family growing up? Wlad has the better overall boxing skills, which the fight would be, but does he have the mental edge over his big brother? Probably not, big brothers usually always beat up their little brothers no matter what else is there especially when theyre both big time atheletes.

Probably Vitali. He's not as talented, but he's much tougher, much more intimidating and takes charge in the ring. Wlad outboxes people, Vitali makes them want to quit. Like lefthook said, I think intangibles trump tangibles in this case.

Wlad. He's just better technically, plus he's quicker and packs a bigger punch.

How is Vitali Tougher? He quit against a featherfisted cruiserweight with only 2 rounds to go in a championship fight! Wlad, even in early beatings or his panic attacks, got up from every knockdown. Wlad is clearly the tougher of the two.

    Vitali.

If they weren't brothers I'd say Wlad, but to me it's always been clear that Vitali is the alpha male out of the 2. In a fight between brothers I think this is a greater intangible than the clear disparity in skill between them.

Anyone who was ever competetive with a brother about a sport will know what I'm talking about.

Its difficult to say... Wlad is probably the better fighter at this point and perhaps should be favored, but the thing that concerns me, is the mental factor of one brother facing another... You're talking about a huge conflict of interest here, and under such circumstances, its not out of the question that the better man could lose..

The fans would win, because for the very first time during their reign, there would be a great, compelling fight to watch for the HW championship.

vitali would win been the more aggresive fighter, it would be the first real challenge for wlad against someone physically as strong as he is

The way Wald fights would not work with Vitali as Vitlai is a master of hitting, then getting out of the way / leaning back before the other guy counters. Wlad is tempo, Vitali is more anti tempo.

A few jabs would not deter Vitali. I think the turning point is Vitali could take Wlad's power shots, but I do not think Wlad could take many of Vitali's.

Even at age 38, I'd still favor Vitali. Vitali obliterated Sanders, Purrity, and had a much easier time vs Peter.

And how does that make him "clearly the tougher"?
