Yes he can and this thread is beyond ******ed really. It's not his problem Mexicans dominated the lower divisions and dominated it clearly, so he fought the guys that were dominating like anyone else would. Simple and clear as that, if African Americans sucked at the lower weight division then it's not Pacquiao's fault, it's their fault. Now at welterweight HE is the one looking to make a fight with possibly the greatest and most skilled African American of this generation in Mayweather. That all alone is more than enough to put an end to these pointless and silly topics.

I seriously doubt when they look back at the history of Manny Pac the one that will stand out to historians 50 years from now will be that he never fought what you consider to be an elite african american fighter.

I could be wrong though....

No ones getting touchy about saying African American. I could give a **** less about what term you use. So dont try to twist it around to serve your own purpose.

The fact remains that when people look back in history at all they great fighters, Ive never heard "ehhhh I dont know, he did retire without facing an elite african american fighter". Its level of competition dip****. No matter what race, or even style for that matter. Again, at the end of the day, you cant fight them all. Youhave to choose the best thats availabe to you, that you're gonna benefit the most from.

By you even making this thread, it shows your agenda. You could have easily said, Manny has never faced anyone with a counter punching boxing style. You could have even said slick style, or someone with a style similar to Mayweathers. But you didnt. Instead you chose to say African American style, then try to back it up with outlandish claims of Joe Louis defeating Hitler that day...ridiculous. Sugar Ray Robinson award etc.

Im not saying anything against those boxers and Im not saying you're a racist or getting all up in arms about your chosen terminology.

What I am saying is you created this pointless thread in an attempt to stir up ****. There is absolutely no point in even asking if he can retire without ever facing an african american. What matters is that a fighter faces the top level of competition. Berto is not elite, alexander is not elite, bradley is not elite. Mosley is, Mayweather is. Pac could have fought Mosley, but declined. Not because he was african american, but because he was too much risk not enough reward. So that leaves Mayweather.

Stop trying to hide behind some bull**** facade and that long speel about African Americans having a long way to go. You're only further showing your agenda.
