you gotta love this guy...he's far from the most naturally gifted fighter to ever don a pair of gloves, but boy, does this guy give the fans 100% every fight, a la gatti.for sheer excitement, katsidis is no.1 box office in the world at the mo,bar none...

only one Gatti my friend... although Katsidis is a hell of a fighter and very likable, and probably a higher quality fighter than gatti. but the type electricity and heart Gatti brings is only seen in a fighter once or twice every 40 years or so.

I think you two have been on the moonshine for too long, when Katsidis beats a legitimate world champion and can fill any type of arena come back and discuss.

I have to agree. He is very Gatti-like. Still has a lot to prove, but he's very fun and exciting to watch, give 110% each time out and is one helluva nice guy. Go Katsidis!

Agreed. While Gatti was always popular and had already been a world titleist, what truly rocketed Gatti to the level of respect and awe in which many hold his tenacity and warrior-like mentality was the unbelievable trio of fights with Micky Ward. If Katsidis can find someone like that, the sky is the limit.

I haven't saw this guy fight but i am a Gatti fan. A friend of mine fought Gatti as a AM in the ring and then outside in the parking lot  He lost both but he is also a brawler still today

He does remind me of gatti the way he fights. Big puncher-slow-horrible defense-pretty good chin and always have a puncher's chance.

    This.

I lived and died with Gatti.

I like Katsidis, he's growing on me, but I don't think in my lifetime I'll see another Gatti, in my book anyway.

  10. There's only ONE Arturo Gatti you dope.

I have a lot of respect for Kats, but he doesn't win enough in order to be the new Gatto. He loses to every world class fighter he faces. Despite all his aggressiveness and heart, he doesn't have the one punch power to pull a rabbit out of a hat like Gatti.

ditto!gatti got stood on his head by the best-same as kats.doesn't make him any less fun to watch tho.pure heart and determination every fight every round.deserves to retire a happy and wealthy man-hope that comes sooner rather than later...
