Ive watched him a few times on RTL as an undercard fighter,he is a decent enough fighter but he has not been tested yet.He looks a little fat and seems to lack power but gets the wins.A lot of people seem to rate him but to me it looks as though as soon as he meets someone who is on the up and not a Julius Long type fighter he gets stopped.Stick him in with Audley!

Two years ago Solis was below 250 (still too heavy for him)...his last two fights have been at 271 & 268.

Solis needs to get in shape before running his mouth, because right now he'd get his head jabbed off.

Damn Haye always starts fast but he lacks stamina. I bet Wlad is going to try and cheat by holding for the first 6 or 7 rounds and try to hide his chin from hayes power. If I were Haye I would insist that Jay Nady be the Ref. Ref would not let wlad get away with all the illegal holding that he does. What gets to me is that the nuthuggers does not say one damn word about the holding that wlad does but that is all that used to talk about when Ruiz used to fight. Fact is Wlad Klitschco holds just as much as john ruiz.

Make the fight. He'll get beaten like everyone else, and then Vitali can get blasted for fighting an overweight HW again.

Yeah, that's a pretty big IF. If he's letting himself decline already, how could he possibly get his **** together all of a sudden and rule a division? Aren't contenders supposed to be "hungry"? When this dude's hungry he feeds himself. If that's how he chooses to squander his talent, that's his choice. As a consequence, he seems to be unworthy of serious consideration. I'm not hating on the guy. I'd love to see him turn it around, but let's be honest with ourselves.

Is there some sort of conspiracy by the illuminati to destroy the heavyweight divison?

Great shittalk by Solis in the article! Funny stuff! I almost want to see this fight now.

Let's see Solis fight an eliminator first. Vitaly will get a fight with Valuev or Haye.

    Nice footage against Haye.

Right now Solis is grossly overweight. IF Solis could get down under 250 lbs, his style could come through.

Solis needs to get in shape...just like Arreola and Peter needed to be in shape, but they weren't and I don't think Solis will ever be in shape.

Solis is fun to watch, if nothing else.

Despite being visibly overweight, he has really, really excellent timing and obvious amateur pedigree. He just has a lot of skills.

No.........Actually he's not. He's just another heavyweight with decent skills, but can't get or stay in good enough shape to make any noise. He'll get his shot and blow it.

that's what i said back in 2007, boy have i been disappointed, and trust me I know Solis since he was in Cuba.... what he is today is not even 60% of the fighter he once was.
