I mean come on , a fully fit Rampage KO's Evans all day long , take nothing away from Rashad the man is what he is , but Rampage @100% would knock him cold no matter what game plan Evans applies !!!!! Coming into a training camp 250 is ****in criminal , you could see how big he was in the prime time shows , he cut 20lb's in the build up to the fight , i knew Rampage was a big cutter but this is ****in silly , he cant expect to beat these guys in that sort of shape , the fact he came damn close would underline how good Rampage is !!!!! Thoughts ??? ...........
I wanna see a 5 round fight but i don't know if rashad can beat shogun. Shogun is a better striker than rampage so i expect him to KTFO evans in the later round. Rampage was rusty but he let evans get away. I don't know if he was tired but he had evans on wobbly legs and didn't attack. I gotta give evans credit. He did what he had to do to win.
Rashad is the luckiest son of a ***** alive he was gifted from god agianst Thiago and Rampage. I thought Rampage looked alittle out of shape but I thought mentally he was more out of shape then he was phyiscally. Rashad looked determined 100 percent of the fight while Rampage at some points looked like he didnt give a damn what happened just look at his body language that entire fight it was very disapointing. Mentally this isnt the guy he was a couple of years ago.
Machida owns them both after growing some balls! Countering first attitude is his downfall and his strength. He must find a balance between the two.
I don't know. Rampage is solely a counter puncher now. If Rashard shows up like he did looking not to throw too much and just tries for takedowns and to wrestle along the cage, he has a good chance against any version of Rampage. Anyway, that was the worst hi-profile fight I've seen in the UFC. These guys talked so much ****, and delivered so little. It nothing but a hugfest, feint contest. You know it was a **** fight when Rashard hammer-fisting Rampage's knee was the most action you saw in a round
Nonsense, Evans is to well rounded for a one dimensional fighter like Rampage. He might be one of the hardest hitters in the sport and a funny guy, but he simply isn't on Rashads level.
It always seems that when a fighter (For lack of a better word) Goes hollywood and gets distracked from his sport the result is always the same and its never good. I like Rampage he's one of my favorties I hope he can bounce back
