I don't see why people should get criticized/ridiculed for not thinking that Khan can a champion, being that he did get knocked out in 57 seconds by a gatekeeper level fighter.

One bad night and an elite fighter can turn into a bum.

I still think Khan will be sparked sooner of later though. But he can achieve a lot, he has great skills and speed.

Boxing has turned into a game of matchmaking. And there is no better matchmaker than Freddie Roach. Let's not get carried away into thinking that Khan steamrolled his way into a world championship by defeatig anywhere close to the best at 140.


With that being said, I still think the criticism he gets in quite unfair. He does have to endure a rather huge amount of outright vicious hate on the part of fans even in his own country.

Just be careful with the gloating. This thread will undoubtedly be re-bumped if he gets sparked out by the likes of Alexander or Bradley (a real possibility).

 

The same questions that were asked of him then are still asked of him now, he hasnt proven **** since the prescott defeat, except that a few very carefully selected opponents and the right people with money behind ya can get you a world title fight and a few easy defences.
