    in an interview with On the ropes he said his deal included;

Money is low for HW title fight
If you won you must fight the other Brother
The Klitscko would be allowed a tune up, he would not
If he wins both fights he get 20% of the purse in a re-match with the original brother

That's god awful in fairness, if thats their standard deal. I wonder what they're offering Haye now?

Haye already signed and pulled out no one forces them to sign.

Ron Borges made a comment about this years ago, around the time Wlad fought Austin I think. There were claims of low-ball offers, unfair contract conditions, and severe stipulations attached to any victory.

When people say they're "classy" I get very confused. They've had a history of taking advantage of challengers since they won belts. The contract terms on the Haye-Wlad fight were shameful, and admitted to by all parties prior to Haye pulling out. A three fight deal, with Haye having to fight both brothers, in a row, with rematch clause for whoever he beat first, and no money except for British TV money.

And people think Haye was a coward for walking out on that when Setanta went under? It's one thing to accept crap stipulations for £1m up front if you think you'll win at least one, it's another, less satisfactory, thing when you're covering all your costs and getting punched in the head for no money before being ****ed over for up to two years.

Utter bull****. Haye gave Vitali a taste of his own medicine pulling out to fight Valuev.

Thats terrible, i think the lowest any challenger should be allowed to get is 20-30%. But meh boxings too ****ed up for decency to take place.

wow thats seriously **** poor. Makes sense why Haye pulled out to fight Vitali. If there still offering him the same contract I can see why fighting Harrison looks like the better option especially as he now has a family to support

That's very interesting and pretty shameful really. I know of pretection racketeers who give better rates than that (I don't really).

You should've posted this on the GF as well, it'd be up to about 90 pages of shite by now.

And the over driven single minded Klitschko fans will continue to bang the "Haye ducked" drum.
    Pathetic.

Haye isn't in the sport to make the Klitschkos wealthy whilst being low-balled himself.

It's not true, or else Finkel would be parading the fax he sent formally offering 50-50.

I agree, infact I've said in the past it was shameless self promotion by Haye, something Klitschko fans don't seem to realise. But, if Setanta hadn't gone bust we'd probably already have our fight by now.:good

Audley Harrison is a true warrior and would fight them for free.

    Yow, crap terms.

The one about fighting the other brother I've always wondered about actually (although why the losing brother wouldn't want to get revenge themselves is beyond me)

The no tune-up and 20% stuff is particularly bull****.
