Kessler hit Calzaghe with some big, clean shots and Calzaghe barely flinched.

    a) Is Calzaghe's chin that good?

    b) Is Kessler an overrated puncher, not fighter. He clearly fought well.

He hits harder, but lack the speed, accuracy, and snap of Kessler

Pavlik is a hard puncher than Kessler, but Kessler has better technique. I don't think Pavlik would do as well against Calzaghe as Kessler did.

    Much bigger puncher.

    Pavlik is a PUNCHER.

    Kessler is a BOXER.

You mean lose 10 rounds out of 12?

I think Pavlik could win 3 or 4 rounds against Calzaghe.

Pavlik definitely has more power, Pavlik is extremely heavy handed. Kessler is a good puncher with a better technique of throwing punches though.

Perhaps a slight edge in terms of power to Pavlik. But timing and accuracy in favour of Kessler. :bbb

With Pavliks style, I don't know if he sees the final bell against Calzaghe.

I think Pavlik's straight left and straight right is more powerful. Watching the fight, I think Pavlik has a huge size difference on both fighters. He appears to be a bigger man overall. Speed obviously goes to both Kessler and Calzaghe.

Kesslers success tonight came from his technique & timing , Im sorry but although I like Pav he cant match Kessler in either department...

For Natural power Pavlik shits on Kessler.

Pavlik has pretty average punching technique, I swear a lot of his Ko's are arm punches.

Kessler is quicker, has better technique and is more fluid, Ive never considered him a big puncher though.

Put it this way I think Kessler had a bigger chance of stopping Joe than Pavlik ever will simply because Pav is to slow and cumbersome to catch joe out like that.
