Say what you like about Haye and the Klits (although i still think it will happen and is only about getting the right "deal")
but i don't think Haye is ducking them due to cowardice - he was undisputed cruiserweight champ (he ducked noone)
he fourght Barrett and Ruiz and both came in fit and ready to fight, both got up several times and both recieved alot of damage before the ref stopped the fight - both wanted to continue (ruiz had a broken nose, jaw and 2 busted ear drums) - they both gave it everything, put it all on the line, kept coming forward and both got destroyed - more than you can say about most of the fighters the Klits have faced
Valuev is simply so big that it becomes a tough fight for anyone - Haye took him on - many others ducked him (the klits?) and won - clearly.
Haye is already a very impressive HW who has earned his belt and bearing in mind his undisputed history he has a legitamate claim as a candidate for P4P and ATG should his progress continue towards unification - the only HW in the devision at the moment who could achieve that status.
So you should give him a break - he is going to fight in Nov, if he fights Vitali he will probably win - it makes sense that it would be Vitali first as it makes the Wlad fight for unification (probably the harder fight) so much bigger - an era defining event infact, that without him cannot happen, so stop knocking him with idle speculation.

The klitschkos have turned the tables called Hayes bluff and David Haye is clearly shitting out. What else are you suppose to think?

Im a Haye fan but hes starting to look a bit of a berk now. Wlad particularly has called him out badly about 3 times very publicly and the silence is deafening

    1. Haye never was the undisputed CW champ. He was the unified champ, in a weak CW division.
    2. Haye took an easy route at HW. Yes, both Barrett and Ruiz came to fight, but they were both past it. Valuev was a good win, but not a great performance by Haye. Larry Donald, an ancient Evander Holyfield and arguably John Ruiz beat Valuev too (but they got robbed).
    3. Haye is clearly ducking the Klits. That after having built his whole HW campaign on challenging them...

"shitting out" or making good business sense?
lets give him the benefit of the doubt bearing in mind his record - it does after all make more sense to fight Vitali first. It also makes sense that the Klits are going to negotiate tough (and probably as a pair) with options and clauses for both brothers, at the moment. But maybe if Haye fights someone else he can become a mandatory for one of the brothers, make some money and get a better deal - also remember Vitali is long past his prime, Wlad is coming to the end of his prime and Haye is yet to fully enter his (certainly as a HW) - managing a boxer at that level is like a chess match.

Parhaps Hayes approach has changed given his success - at first his attempt at HW seemed like he just wanted to chance his arm on the glass jawed Wlad as a cherry on top of his cruiserweight titles and cash in with a couple of defences - hence the trash talk (at that point he would have fought Wlad at any price)

now he finds himself with a belt (which brings mandatorys) an angry Wlad who suddenly looks pretty sharp, an old looking Vitali who looks very slow and alot of better offers elsewhere

it certainly isn't about cowardice - it isn't that simple

"past it" is debatable, in what sense? both looked fit, sharp and hungry? (possibly more than in previous fights - like they had something left to prove) they both fourght hard as expected? but at least you agree they came to fight unlike many of those who have faced the Klits recently
Haye's win over Valuev was clear - none of the others where clear - Haye hardly got hit and staggered Valuev
Haye's campaign was based on the Klits i agree but now he has a belt and a big name (certainly in the uk) he has other options - makes sense to explore them?

****ing right on. Every time there's someone talking bout "but it makes business sense, he's a smart business man". STFU! I don't care! You know why I don't care? Because none of Hayes money is going to me. Not even one ****in percent of it. That is why I don't give a **** what a good businessman he is. I just wanna see the fight now.
