Think about it, kotelnik could shut out alexander for twelve rounds just as easily as alaxander could KO him. im not saying it will happen but kotelniks got a really difficult style to fight against what with his guard that never drops. So what would happen to alexander if he losses..? He'd be off Khans radar, plus that would make Khans win over Kotelnik alot more impressive. Again im not saying this will happen, mainly because i think Alexander will win, but its an intresting point none the less
Kotelnik is to stiff and robotic the best americans would take him aprt - Khan won a very easy ud with his speed and any of the other top tier fighter would do the same hes a gate keeper and not much else. If alexander looses a close points fight it would be a bit of a shock one he could easily rebound from. A loss doesnt mean career over.
Nah this is pretty much a shutout fight. I don't see any way Kotelnik can win this at all. A moving up in weight Khan beat him just on straight 1,2's and jabbing.
Alexander was outboxing Witter pretty emphatically who in turn outsped and outboxed Kotelnik until he tired. So no chance, Kotenik isn't good enough, decent learning fight for Alexander against a tight defensive boxer
...then a former champ will have beaten someone who was regarded as a green prospect up until not very long ago. It wouldn't be that huge a shock.
Then ****ing Roach would smell blood, and start calling Kotelnik out to fight kahn because he does the talking for his fighters
1) If Kotelnik shuts him out, he might get a draw on the scorecards. No way is he going to win a decision in Alexander's back yard. 2) It won't matter anyways, because I think Kotelnik will be lucky to win more than 1 or 2 rounds. Alexander's too good. I expect a wide UD win for Alexander, but Kotelnik's pretty durable so I don't think Devon will get the knockout unless the ref steps in to stop it.
