True but I woulda ranked GSP higher than serra that day after serra beat him. Anybody can have a good night but P4P is about being consistant....truthfully I don't know who goes where after Fedor #1, Silvia, and GSP can switch back and forth for second and third every time they have a fight, but I guess GSP is more dominate although less KO'in.

Frankie Edgar is not as good as BJ Penn. Just like Forrest is not as good as Shogun, and Russow is not as good as Duffee, and so on and so on. BJ Penn has proved over his entire career to be a top P4P fighter, and I actually think he won the fight with Edgar. Until he is decisively beaten, he stays up there.

To say Jose Aldo is not "important" to P4P discussions is rather simple minded.

Fedor, GSP, Silva, Shogun, Edgar, BJ Penn, Machida, Aldo, Melendez and Shields.

I'd probably say that this is my top 10. Hard list to do.

If BJ is better then shouldnt he have beat Edgar. Only so many times you can keep making excuses for a guy when he loses. Frankie presented a good moving target and BJ found him very hard to hit and Frankie outworked him on his feet with his strikes plus he was able to take BJ down twice not to mention he was better in the Championship rounds. Frank won the fight and BJ lost thats the end of it lets see what happens in August. Frank isnt some one dimensional journeymen at that the man has good boxing, good wrestling, good Jiujitsu, great cardio and has built up an impressive resume with the likes of Tyson Griffin, Jim Miller, Franca, Sherk and others this guy is worthy being ranked above Penn atleast until he loses the title if he loses the title. Please dont mention Duffee the guy hasnt done **** in his career just because he had a flashy 7 secound KO and looks like a movie star doesnt mean hes ever going to compete with the likes of Brock, Carwin, JDS and the other top guys.
