Per Dan Rafael Of ESPN Haye Not Likely To Fight Klitschko

To summarize.
Everything Rafael (a confirmed Haye hater) is true.
Everything K2 say is true.
Everything Booth says is a lie (despite stating that he has nothing to report and revealing potentially damaging future opponents)

I get it.

What a joke this forum is.

 

Haye has had plenty of time to respond. The initial deadline of May 17th has passed. The IBF has said that they might approve Klitschko-Haye if an agreement can be reached....but from all appearances it ain't happening.

 

If The Klits are offering 50/50 with no options, then Haye has to take that deal if he really wants to fight either guy.

 

They have been publicaly challenged what like 10 weeks ago and Haye has not found the time to respond to it with a SINGLE WORD. Then Booth says this week that "there's nothing to say really". Then Booth goes on to say they're also talking to Rahman, Briggs, Harrison and Toney.

How much clearer do you need it? Haye and Booth's interest in fighting the Klits has unfortunately reached a new low.

This has nothing to do with hating Haye, this is just being disappointed as a fan of boxing. If you expect us to applaud Haye and Booth for being "smart businessmen" as they're considering lower risk opponents then go elsewhere, this is a boxing forum not a business forum.

 

Haye doesn't want either fight now. I'd bet that this story will be pretty much confirmed by Haye's action/inaction/next fight opponent.

Personally I'm happy with these comments and I'm not going to criticize Haye until it is proven that he has signed to fight a different opponent.:nono

 

So why do you jump in on every ****ing Haye thread giving your opinion on why Haye should fight so and so because they have been offered this and that.
No-one knows what's going on.
Booth and Haye are doing the right thing by not saying anything if there's nothing to say. K2 on the other hand are drip feeding favoured journalists supposed details of supposed offers.
When Wlad made that video many of us saw it for what it was. It's designed to put pressure on Haye and get the neutral boxing fan onside with the Klits. It's worked to a certain extent with the fans but will have the opposite effect on Haye and Booth. They play the promotional game better than most and will not crumble under such pressure.
A lot of you seem to think that Haye is going to hide in England and defend against bums. Won't happen. The journos will destroy Haye and destroy his money earning potential. As most of you continually point out, they are a joke but they can also be nasty *******s and can make or break someones career. Haye has been calling out the Klits in the British press as well and if he doesn't fight at least 1 soon, he can kiss goodbye to his career in England.
Just be patient and try not to let bias get in the way.

well you cant blame Haye.. he can make a million a fight while fighting bums and boxers that represent no threat.. why risk it.. once he's set for life money wise then he can get his ass kicked by the klits

I cant wait either. Now that Bonte has said it, I can say it now. Wlad offered 50-50 and NO OPTIONS since day one. It was very hard to sit back and watch the Haye fans telling me that the offer was not 50-50 and that there were 3 options.
