No doubt it's all about a big pay day for both men. Hopkins is old and overrated. If he could have outboxed Joe at one time, he can't now.

that how we do it , you must be from over the pond and 15 , Kidz with a Z is slang spelling :patsch it was intentionally done ..

In any case to say a 42 year old Hopkins is afraid to fight JC is stupid , Hopkins fighting JC and losing to his age (42) will not harm Hopkins legacy one bit , just like JC beating a 42 year old Hopkins will not add his legacy , a fight between these too would be as significant as Rjj vs Tito 10 year to late , there meeting would be for MONEY only which both fighter would welcome.

Hopkins Afraid of JC ?!?! I don't think so. JC is the man at 168 to 175 and 10yr undefeated ,he a major trophy for any of the young lions out there , and a good payday for some of the old ones, look for everyone and there mother to be gunning for JC now.

I give JC a good chance against Dawson.I dont see why Dawson's rated so highly by some people.Watching the world amateur championships, the two light heavy finalists, the Russian winner Berbitiev and runner up Attoev would destroy Dawson imo.

Are you having a laugh or have you never seen Hopkins fight ?

JC would be all over him and totally outclass him.

well this is the internet, the whole point of slang is so a word is shorter than it originally was supposed to be, look at the word '****' people spell it as 'phuck' takes more time, stick to the original.

I hope Calzaghe - Hopkins comes off, and the winner fights the winner of Jones - Trinidad :smoke

Calzaghe should win a comfortable decision, but Hopkins will pose him problems. This is THE fight now. A shame that Calzaghe will be 36 and Hopkins 43.

Thats the fight I want to see! Doubt it will happen due to the high risk/low reward factor.
Is Dawson a big enough name in the states to get a fight with Joe?

Joe will not land that much on Hopkins. That is ******ed. Nobody landed that much on Hopkins ever. Joe would out work Hopkins to a comfortable lead but B-hop will have more moments even at this point then you think. Bhop is a master boxer that does not make any mistakes. Calzaghe is an aggressive phenom whos style is akward and hard to adapt too.

Not even in Providence, Rhode Island, would Bernard run from Calzaghe but in Philly or wherever on the West Coast, Joe would have his mouth dry to speak out in any presser... And that is Frank Warren's fault, not Joe's.
