Because he did not make excuses of Klitschko proportions?

    What could he say?

It is always good to see fighters get respect, but respect for NOT being a brat after losing a fight gives boxing a bad name.

The BUll**** orgs will strip Calzage soon and Kessler will get another shot, I think he is the 2nd best at 168 and has a shot vs Talylor but Kelly Pavlik would beat him

The few rounds Kessler won, he won them big. I do think his hands was hurt and he could win a rematch. Anyhow I never gave joe any credit b4 this fight, he is pretty awesome he deserves it. What Joe said about him not fighting kessler again, normally i get pissed off when boxers dont give rematches in enteraining fights, but i understand joe is on his way out. Props to Kessler:good

Mikkel should call out Lucian. Sure, there's no reason why Bute would fight the man who lost in the SMW fight of the decade, knowing full well that he would lose badly...but if he declines to fight a great former champion, he would not be so respected and so liked. Bute would truly be an extraordinary special human being from a moral point of view if he agreed to fight Kessler sometime next year...Bute should aim to fight Calzaghe in 2008, of course, but if he latter declines to fight him, he should agree to fight Mikkel.

That is a great post-fight comment from a fighter who has just lost a lot - 2 belts and his 0.

He should fight Froch who wanted the winner of the Calzaghe-Kessler fight. He won't decline the challenge since he already called out the winner of the fight. Kessler would school Froch and than take on a champion to take a belt.

Kessler's not ruined, and neither is Lacy, assuming he gets over his injury.

    Dumbass.

Pavlik would get destroyed by Kessler.

I cannot believe the way Pavlik fans on these boards think he would beat the top Super Middles. Some guys here think he would beat Calzaghe.:rofl:rofl

I just saw a post-fight clip with Kessler. As this thread suggests he said he would come back - but I don´t think he sounded convinced.

Crap. He's just been beaten in the fight of his life. A fight he was certain he'd win. He's depressed, hurting and down. Give him a week or two and he'll be back in the gym, dying to get back in the ring.
