I could have written a Bunce on Boxing book and it would have sold more than the fiction. That's fact, by the way. Maybe next time. I wanted to try something new.
This week's BBC London show will be stunning. I've no idea who the guests are yet...but, it will be stunning!

My podcast colleague and I interviewed Buncey for the boxing clever podcast and the first part of it was all about his book the fixer. My co host, Reidy, had read the book and reviewed it for sport magazine and I have since read it and have to say I really enjoyed it (and that is not me just being an arse kisser)!

Obviously I am a boxing fan and fan of boxing books, but I am also a fan of crime thrillers and Buncey does a great job of combining the two. I hope he follows through on his promise to write parts 3, 1 and 4 (apparently the fixer was 2 in a four book series and he has decided to go all star wars in the order!?!)

As for his appearance on our show, Bunce was really freindly and talkative and we spoke to him for nearly an hour. Its a shame we had to cut it down to half an hour to fit it on to the show.

Steve, if you are reading this, we were more than happy to plug the fixer and hope it helped shift a few more copies - you certainly helped boost our ratings! Feel free to plug our show in your next BM column / TV or radio appearance etc........... Any feedback on what you think of the show in general would be appreciated. Johnny's OK in my book at least he shows some passion unlike those 2 "Thunderbird" puppets Piper & McCrory who are just to establishment for my liking.

I recken the perfect panal would be WALLACE presenting along with Colin Hart/Jonny Nelson/Barry McGuigan & Buncy Now thats going to make for a very lively animated panel indeed.

But Buncy will have to swot up a bit more on his quips & quotes as he cant be seen to keep flicking his eyes down to the left all the time (As on Setanta) when yapping as thats where he has his stash of 80's KO/Ring mags:yep:hey
