Because the steroid controversy would be huge if he knocked a 154 pounder out. He might as well retire.

First of all if Floyd retires it would be a coward move. Second of all a guy, who carries his weight 8 divisions and knocks people out with one punch is ridicolous. Not saying he is on steroids, but Im skeptical.

They way I look at it is, Pac wants to deliver exciting matches. If a few fans want to accuse him of whatever, so be it. As a man, it is not important what you are accuse of but rather you know that you're innocent. In the long run, fans will look back and appreciate a fighter who went the extra distances and beyond.

Never cast judgment until it's well proven. It's a principle I live by. It help curb bad rumors from spreading. One thing about rumors is the damage is done even before someone is proven guilty or innocent. Why allow ourselves to be part of the problem. You're only robbing yourself of truly enjoying an amazing career. If the truth comes out and say he is guilty, then it is never too late to cast stones. But if he was cleared of the charges, how would you have felt if someone gave you hell throughout the entire accusation. In the end, there is no winner when people jump to early conclusions. So let's put our opinions aside and enjoy the fights.

PS: the last time Pac knock someone out with one solid punch was Hatton back at 140, before then he didn't knock people out with one punch, it's an accumulation of punches. And at 147, he did not even drop anyone. It's mostly his speed that was the problem for others not his power.

If Floyd retires again, its absolutely a ***** move. That's just like saying to the world: "World I am a giant *****!" Provided he does retire.

Pac will probably fight Cotto for the 154 belt just to be called an 8 division champ.
