Foreman sucked to the point that the ring favoured him over Cotto?!

I agree Foreman isn't the best at 154, but i thought he was top 6 for definate. Cotto's win is a legit win over a live 154 champion.

You name Latimore, Alcine, etc ahead of Foreman, but lets be honest if Cotto had dominated those guys the way he did Foreman last night you'd still be on here moaning about it.

It's Miguel's comeback fight since Pacquiao and the death of his Dad, the guy faces everyone, so i think he deserves a pass for easily beating an awkward world champion at a new weightclass don't you?

**** who was favored.... doesn't change the fact that foreman is hot garbage... just goes to show how much cotto has slipped in the eyes of the people who make the odds

the dude foreman wasn't doing **** all fight man.. he sucks... stop falling for the bull****

cotto fighting a guy thats not a great 154 pounder is still better than mayweather fighting blown up featherweights like JMM and and 38 year old over the hill guys like Mosley...... he gets about s much credit as Lewis gets for beating tyson

I didn't agree with the ring's prediciton. I said Cotto would win a decision. So i'm not "falling for their bull****". That was just an example of how some thought the fight would be even.

Foreman actually did catch Cotto with some proper right hands, 3 times i think, in the middle rounds, and Cotto just waved them off.

I see where your coming from saying Foreman's ranking perhaps isn't justified by his skill or repertoire, but he is still a tall, awkward style for someone such as Cotto to face.

So i think the credit Cotto gets for the win is justified, it certainly wasn't an "embarrasment to the sport"! Give me a break.

It was a decent win that feels even better because it's nice to see Cotto in a dominant win again, regardless of the competition.

    your missing my point

the fact that arum put these two guys in a ring is the embarassment
the fact that the hbo crew was sucking both of them off is teh embarassment

look how low they are letting our bar get... in the future they will continue to match guys who have no business either fighting one another or fighting at a high level and people will continue to eat it right up

cotto handled his business and so did foreman but that doesn't mean anything... they are supposd to & will fight... they are doing their jobs

    the promoters
    the announcers

are the ones who are not

I agree. Jews should stick to promoting fights and not actually fighting.
