I don't know how many of you got attend the Friday Show at York Hall. I attended with 55 young people and there legal guardians from Great Harwood, Lancashire, many of them have never been to a boxing show before and were looking forward to it. Spencer Fearon was incredible in looking after us, so a massive big up to him for going out of his way in accommodating us. I have attended many world title fights and not many matched up to the atmosphere on display on the night especially when Choi and Kresnik and even the undercard fighter were on display there was a lot of passion coming from the watching public which was incredible to see. So well done Hard Knocks and Spencer, May you go from strenght to strenght.
Yes Spencer is a genuine nice guy. Email him and the guy takes the time to get back to you. We need more promoters who's sole aim is to give value for money and look after the fans.
Was surprised to see Spencer at the Sky show, his cards up to now sound top class. Hope it carries on
Hardknocks are one of many current promoters...:yep What is going to make them different from the rest...:think
One word: Choi!!!!! :yep Likes to put on competitive match-ups in both the main event and undercard, has some good fighters under the banner and some popular niche fighters like Choi and Qato.
Good exciting fighters, brilliant multicultural atmosphere and competitive matchmaking - that is what boxing is all about.:good Choi, Qato, Natham Graham all exciting fighters!
I think Spencer is good for boxing makes a bit of noise genuinely cres for the sport and is actually trying to promote boxing as a brand again. The only niggle i would have is the main draws for his shows are going to be Choi and Qato who as much as i love i feel he could do with a British star he has somebody for the Mongolians and the Eastern Europeans to get behind he needs somebody for the Brits to get behind as well
:good The group that came from Great Harwood were of Asian origin and one thing i notice how ethnically mixed the crowd was
