Hell, I was at the Stadium yesterday and I'd rather watch a fight in an arena like MSG. Unofficial attendance has it at about 22,000, or so they claim. Good atmosphere but in my opinion it doesn't compare to an arena.
Fighting in a stadium located any where on the East is taking a big chance.. Had it rained last night we would have been ****ed. Boxing should stick to them dicks & balls it's used to and fight in arenas.
Once they have a boxing match at the re-built Wembley Stadium in London, England they will all want to fight there...:deal Haye will beat Vitali or Wlad there...:deal Although I went to watch my football team play Shalke 04 at The Veltins Arena in Gelsenkierchen, Germany where the Klits always fight and that is an awesome venue...:deal
taxes are way too high for a meaningful fight to happen in NYC on a regular basis. Vegas is good in that respect amongst many others.
Cowboys stadium has that giant screen. You can be on the top of the stadium and still watch the fight:good
Both looked great watching on TV, but in terms of location I would think that Yankee Stadium is much better in that regard.
When they counted the fans at Cowboys, there were 49,997 Pacquiao fans and only 3 Clottey fans. That huge discrepancy can't create an electric atmosphere.
Cowboy stadium all the way I mean come on it has the largest ****ing screen on the planet so people sitting in the nosebleeds can watch the fight and ticket prices are reasonable so the whole family can go.
