He looked sharp and fluid - he'd really worked on the basics, and his defence and movement were a real step up.

He came in his first fight at 154, against a bigger, faster, agile guy, and looked good. Definitely improved in a lot of areas!

Foot work and balance was better/ he stuck w/ the jab a bit more. But foreman showed he can still be hit w/ the overhand right. Steward made some difference but not enough to say it's a new cotto.

I saw improved footwork but I also saw Yuri land a flush right to the jaw had that been anyone but the guy with 7 KO'S who knows what happpens. We have to see Cotto with a volume puncher with pop before Im fully convinced, the Stewaed move comes a fight too late for me,,,,, but lets wait and see.

He'll never be Pernell Whitaker, but he has other abilities that make up for it. He doesn't struggle with big punchers - he never has except for them wobbling him. It's high volume guys who pressure him. That's his kryptonite.

He seemed much more patient than if he had fought Foreman 2 years ago. Manny has him much more dedicated to the jab and setting up his bread and butter shots rather than just stalking from the opening bell...:think

How many right hands did he get hit by, Jackoff? He landed like two clean shots that I remember. That's not a great feat.

But Cotto looked alright. Steward definitely has him boxing more, and standing more upright. I don't think it's a good idea to try to change a fighters style. The old Cotto would have gotten Foreman out of there a lot earlier.

Apparently, a lot of Reyes enthusiasts are being converted to Everlast by this particular glove.

Definitely fought upright (although he did ONCE do his spiderman dip). Not sure why everyone is talking about his jab...he's always jabbed that much.

He DEFINITELY used his right hand more often, he was patient, paced, and didn't over exert himself in certain situations. He went back to his more solid body punching instead of those weird ass arm punches he's been doing recently.

His footwork did improve. He threw more punches while moving, but still every now again wanted to remain planted.

I saw some decent change, but nothing HUGE! But that's better than seeing ZERO change in most fighter's change in trainers...I feel this was overall a good choice in trainer and we should most likely see any REAL changes in his next fight.

    Movement was much better
    Left uppercut was landing well
Defence looked better, his upper body movement to duck Foremans hooks was the best I've seen from him
Good improvement in the time him and Steward have had together.
