pics http://www.pixsy.com/search.aspx?q=shane%20cameron%20friday video highlights http://www.tv3.co.nz/VideoBrowseAll/SportsVideo/tabid/317/articleID/38359/Default.aspx#video
warning for the vid, the first time i watched it my comp screwed up and i had to restart it, so watch at your own risk
Won't play on mine either, though I do have intermittent problems with my media player sometimes. Cheers for the pics though.
no dramas mate, on the video after the first knockdown shanes face was a mask of blood, he looke dlike he was out of a horror movie or something, if he wasnt fighting in nz i dont think they would have let the fight go that far, and the ref let him continue when he was clearly gone, not doing him favours in the long run imo
Yeah, feel bad for him, going by the round by round report he was ahead on the cards but credit to Friday for boxing cleverly and getting the win. No doubts on Camerons heart, the fight vs Mirovic with a broken hand and almost gutsing out the decision here. Do you think has a better chance at Cruiserweight or will his capacity to be cut easily affect any future plans?
if he wants to go to cruiserweight, which he would have to lose 10kg to do, the guys will still be able to cut him, so i dont se any point to it, i see his fitness as his asset at heavyweight where guys are notorious for running out of gas, cruiserweight would equal less money and fame too, and he has worked so damn hard to build a heavyweight physique i doubt he will want to give up, lets not forget whos losses friday are too, very very good fighters. i still think cameron will go places if matched correctly
Good points, I hope he can still make a go off it but yeah, the cuts are going to be hanging over his head everytime he fights. Wasn't aware of his weight so find it hard to believe he'd drop 10kg, its not as if hes carrying a spare tyre around, looks pretty fit.
Cameron will sell tickets inthe states because of his blood and guts fights, he's powerful, always in shape, fights in a phone booth he could make some decent $$$ fighting top contenders and putting on Gatti like fights but I dont see him winning any titles or even comming close! Luis Tapia was correct when he aid Reinsfield (shanes manager) was naive, and that Cameron isnt in Fridays league
Totally agree Mark. 3 of the 4 champs are "little" heavyweights. Whats the advantage of being huge when you gas out after 4 rounds and can only throw two kinds of punches? I think Shane can come back from this.
wow,,his face was a mess,,,hope he comes back from this,,to many people write fighters of,after 1 loss,,
Agree with you on that.. Sometimes a fighter can comeback to become a better fighter after their first loss.. Im sure BOBBY would agree with that???
sure do ozzie, while i have never fought at the level of friday ahunanya if you ever need a wake up call go get knocked out, your weaknesses are soon very evident
Exactly... Some people get carried away and write a fighter completely off after one loss. You cant write people off in a sport like boxing.. Imagine if after one loss boxers threw in the towel.. Bernard hopkins wouldnt of even made it past his first bout.. JUST A LITTLE EXAMPLE THERE:hey
