the pre mayweather hatton vs the now katsidis has FOTY written all over it. i think ricky should retire, he maybe shot to bits and loseing all that weight in a short space of time will wreck his chances in the long run. katsidis by mid-late stoppage
Impossible to pick a winner because nobody has any clue what Hatton has got left after abusing his body. Hatton of the Paulie fight would beat Kats for my money, but that Hatton is probably gone for good.

It's amazing the amount of criticism Hatton gets. I'm not a fan of his but man, the Mayweather fight. People talk like it was the biggest mismatch in history. In reality he won some of the early rounds. Okay he still got outclassed but so did Shane Mosley, and many other world class fighters. Hatton won more rounds than Shane. Okay Shane didn't get knocked out but he was trying to survive in the end. Plus Hatton was fighting up a weight class. The Pac fight, I can't say nothing about that, but he gets too much **** for the Mayweather fight. Personally I'm not convinced that he's finished. As I've said before, he MIGHT be finished, but a couple of losses to the two greatest fighters of his generation doesn't convince me. People say "oh well he looked crap against Lazcano too". When has Hatton ever looked that good? He's always had to take punches to land punches. I don't get the weight thing either, like "maaan he so fat, there aint no way he go'ne make 140". Dudes always blown his ass up between fights and never failed to make weight. I don't think he got knocked out against Pac cuz the poor lifestyle was catching up to him, I think he got knocked out because he had a shitty ass gampeplan and Pac is that damn good. I could be wrong but I think he could still fight and kick some ass.
