Id like Adamek to take on Dimitrenko before daring to step in with either Klit.

Dimitrenko is somewhere between Grant and a K-Bro, probably closer to K-bro status than he is to Grant's level...IMO.

Chris Arreola sucks, and sucks hard.

Adamek wouldn't struggle with someone at that skill level at CW.

The only reason he did was because Chris was so heavy and stronger than him. The Klitschkos would bury Adamek.

There was no TV interested in the rematch with Cunningham. Despite Cunningham, there are no challenges in the CW for Adamek. To be honest, the other champions (Huck and Wlodarczyk) are suited for Adamek, especially Huck. I also think that Adamek should fight at his natural weight (200 pounds), but I understand why he fights above. He would be a huge underdog against Klits, but against Haye he has a good chance.

    We shall see.

I don't understand how people can be so dismissive about Adamek's chances versus the supposedly untouchable Klits.Adamek's ring IQ is just as high, beleive me he can figure them out and has the chin to have a wide margin of error. He can outbox either of them esp the Vitali I saw against Sosnwoski. His chin was proven at every weight class and against Arreola at HW.

When Adamek first anounced his move to HW, everyone was saying that Adamek was just bullshitting to get HBO to pony up for the Cunningham 2 fight. No one gave him a realisitic chance at this weight class. And I mean no one, not even most of his fans. Too small they said. I heard thesame crap when he jumped to CW. Now that he's in the top 5 at HW people are still betting against him. :think

I was one of those "too small" gu when he was thinking of moving up to HW. He then beat Arreola which is a pretty big deal and now he will fight an old but dangerous heavy with a monster reach. If he beats him convincingly, hopefully by KO which will help prove that he brought up some of his strength with him, he will take on another high ranked fighter in November. I can't wait. After that, hopefully he fights Vitali, unless Haye decides that he will fight Adamek.

I understand these people who bet against him. When you compare Adamek to other heavies, they are much bigger and stronger, so they should beat him. However Adamek is much more skilled and faster than most heavies, but it isnt the most important. What makes the real difference is his ring IQ and this how he switches to the opponents different style. It helps him to beat bigger and stronger fighters. Of course when he meets the ones like Klitschkos, he would be a huge underdog, but I think he would be much more competetive than most of their opponents. He clearly beat Arreola, who was destroyed by Vitali.

would, could, you can say that about anything after the thing happens
... the fact is and was the same: "Chris was so heavy and stronger
than him" ... and that what really matters at HW, Adamek beat bigger
and stronger guy who was recently considered as one of the best
prospects and who has rather impressive KO record ...

As the fight was for peanuts (no belt on the line, not even the
mandatory spot) it doesn't matter how badly Chris sucks in you opinion,
he is definitely legitimate top 5-10 HW opponent right now.

If you are judging what could, would happen before the fight
then lets retire every HW boxer except Haye, and maybe Valuev
because none other on paper have a chance to beat either Klit.

I would think Adamek will play it sort of safe after the Grant fight. He is on the shortlist for Klitschko opponents and as long as he keeps winning he will probably get a shot at one of them next year. Wlad would steamroll him but Vitali could be a winnable fight for Adamek by the time next year rolls along. Vitali is going to be 39 and is starting to show his age more, Vitali would be the favorite but he is clearly slowing down.

Adamek does well fighting out of New Jersey so I would figure his next fight or two would be there. I would think he tries to get a fighter with low risk and high reward. A shot fighter with a big name who will help draw crowds since he doesn't always have tv coverage but at the same time doesn't upset his chances at a big fight with a Klitschko. Rahman, Holyfield, Toney, Briggs or any fighter along those lines would be perfect opponents for Adamek after his Grant fight. I'd like to see him face another top guy like Peter, Haye, Chambers, or even an Arreola rematch, but I don't know if those fights happen, I think he plays it safe until a Klitschko and HBO comes calling again.

Adamek is doing great staying active and preparing himself for the Klitschkos with the Grant fight.

I believe he will enter the K brothers radar right after the fight, just don't know if they will be available by then. Maybe Adamek will have to take on a mandatory eliminator to fast forward his oportunity, perhaps a fight with Peter, Solis or Dimitrenko.

i've heard he may fight holyfield after grant. but to me that doesn't point him in the direction of a title fight, esp. not w/ either of the klits. after grant, he may fight chambers. if he beats chambers, he should get haye & then the winner gets a shot @ one of the klits. that's if haye beats harrison.

We can't discount Adamek until he faces Vitali or Wlad. If Sosnowski could go 10 with VK you would figure Adamek is at least a level or 2 better.

Thats being kind to Sosnowski. I don't want to be cruel, but the guy is a crude fighter and an over achiever. I don't see him and a guy like Pawel Wolski too far apart in skill level. He's got to where he is now because of hard work, extra careful managing and good breaks.
