Sibson was a stocky tank, but he was pretty hampered by size as well, with small arms and a lack of height.
Juan Urango at 140 although he has very skinny legs. This content is protected This content is protected
Then perhaps the man he beat to obtain his shot at Hagler, the tall and physically powerful Dwight Davison would be a better choice. (At one point, Davison, a former high school wrestler, wrangled a charging Curtis Parker to the floor.)
Hugo Pineda. Saw him fight Kostya Tszyu at 140, then Glen Johnson at 175, 12 years later. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3uELCFomfQI[/ame]
Didn't think his legs were that skinny A. Pacquaio 130 and below was pretty massive. Delahoya and Mosley at 135, Arguello even upto 140 was massive PAUL WILLIAMS
I bumped into Ricky Hatton at a show in Manchester whilst he was training for Pacquiao.... just before he flew to the States, he was about 150lbs or so - ****ing huge for the weight. I'm the same height and pretty well built..... I wouldn't get below 150 without risking my health. Rendall Munroe (current European 122lb champion) was at the same show..... he could easily fight at 130 or 135 and not be bullied.
I always thought Saoul Mamby was about 5'11" when I watched him, very thin build and he's only listed at 5'8". I can't see where the 140lbs was on him.
Erik Morales at 5'8 always looked big for the Super Bantamweight division. Went to nearly every weigh-in looking like skin and bones.
Boxing is Full of the Chick Sticks Come to think of it, apart from the Heavies can anyone name a few fighters with a decent pair? Fitz & Hearns had such thin Legs but still Punched with the best of em
