I'm definetly stoked on Lemieux. being from the horrible boxing nation of Canada I gotta root for the one guy making moves who didn't come here from the carribean and become a citizen. Molitor was a big letdown and fights like he's scared to death since Caballero spanked him so I got my fingers crossed for Lemieux.
No. you actually got personal first. And where do you get off calling AA a bum? If a legit world champion with a 90% ko ratio is a bum to you, then why do you even watch boxing? I guess only the ATG's are worth a **** as fighters to you. Addie and elvis are right. You are a loser. Probably suffer from ED too.
Consider me a fan! Dude's well on his way and has an exciting future ahead of him, especially with that Tommy Morrison-esque left hook from hell he's got. I'm really looking forward to see where he develops from here since he's still so young, but he's already impressed me by working himself into contender status so soon. Puts on a great show for the fans, too. Hopefully he doesn't fall in love with that aspect to the point where he neglects his defense, though. With exciting fighters like Lemieux and the other new talent on the rise, Middleweight's really heating up!
It was a good test against a nice solid fighter, and DL blew him out of the water. Very very impressive.
middleweights got an exciting future with jacobs, lemieux, kirkland, golovkin, williams, martinez.......could once again become a glamour division
I'd love to see him fight David Lopez next. Lopez should be able to take him in to deep waters and we'll see if Lemieux can swin or if he drowns. But Lopez might be a too big a risk at the moment and even though Lopez is highly rated by both boxing fans and the ABC douche bags Lemieux's people might view it as too high of a rish and too low of a reward. If Lemieux gets through a tough fight with Lopez then its a great win and answers alot of question and if he stops Lopez early then Lemiex would show that he can stop even the top guys early.
He looked very good! Especially if you consider that Abraham needed 12 rounds to get rid of Ayala. The first right hand that Lemieux landed already took Evlin's feet... his combinations look really nice, but his defence could be improved somewhat and he might be a bit susceptible to being outboxed. But he's only 21 and has plenty to learn. And even if he doesn't learn, he's still a huge puncher and exciting to watch.
This kid is like a MW Tyson. Just blowing everyone the **** out. He's only 21! I am so on this bandwagon.
