 Hey whats up thread I'm replying to your seriously misguided statement that Bernard Hopkins Poses a greater threat then Kelly Pavilik. First of all Kelly Pavilik posses far great power then Hopkins, hand speed, and is much younger. I don't know if you saw Kelly Pavilik Ko Jermaine Taylor in spectacular fasion in the 7th round. While in the other hand Bernard Hopkins had a draw the first time then the second time lost. Know Joe Calzaghe should win a easy unaminous decision. Due to his huge advatige in speed, atheticsim, and youth. Kelly on the other Hand, disbite Joe Cazighie great chin could score a KO victory. I rest my case. If you are any kind of man you will reply back.

You are correct; I just looked it up, it was 640.

More than enough to win against Calzaghe.

If the Hopkins-Calzaghe match becomes a reality, many of you are in for a big surprise.

It doesn't do much for me. Borenard is old and overrated. Kessler would probably kill him

The only thing Hopkins done more than 700+ times in the Winky fight was clinch and headbut

Likewise, Calzaghe may be able to dictate the terms of the fight, but I don't see that happening, and if Hopkins dictates the terms, I can't see Calzaghe winning.

I hope you are right and that Hopkins comes in as an underdog so I can cash out.

Calzaghe threw 84 punches a round on average according to:

    http://www.***********.com/?m=show&id=11069

That's 368 more than Hopkins managed against Wright who stands in front of you for most of the fight looking to block shots and shuffle left to right. Calzaghe is also accurate with his shots as he is quick at delivering them. Interesting tactical fight, but for all BH's ring smarts Calzaghe has an equal amount and speed and stamina on his side. Calzaghe is much more of a dangerous southpaw to Hopkins that the likes of a Winky Wright, Calzaghe is also the bigger man here naturally lets not forget. JC by comfortable UD

I'm hard-pressed to see how a reckless winger like Calzaghe is more dangerous than a seasoned tactician like Winky.

Reckless fighters tend to leave themselves in vulnerable positions; when facing a defensive master, this opens up a slew of countering opportunities.

Time will tell, but I continue to be baffled by the number of people who are acting as if Calzaghe is going to have a walk in the park with Hopkins. Lest we forget, Winky was widely considered #3 P4P prior to his bout with Hopkins, whereas, Kessler wasn't even on the radar.
