I think that Khan will beat McCloskey quite easily with Paul's current style, Amir can keep it long and box his head off...:yep
Khan has looked good in his last few fight but in my opinion that because the fighters have been hand picked, everbody know if he gets in with a brawler then he could be in trouble. The fight wont happen until murrey gets its on with a world class operator and wins.
Yes, what we need right now is stuff like De Gale v Groves Chisora, Fury, Sexton, McDermott against each other Murray v Mitchell etc It won't happen though. What a ****in joke. On the world scene, Gamboa v Lopez shoul happen right now, but Bob Arum is being a twat and wants to wait. As boxing fans, sometimes it seems all we ever do is wait. When it finally happens we're left dissapointed.
I don't want to see Lopez get badly hurt...... which he would do against Gamboa. Marquez will do him :yep
Which is not happening any time soon. He was already offered a fight with Katsidas who from what he has shown in the past is a shade below world class. Katsidas's manager stated Murray has got no balls.
Although Khan has much more talent IMO than Murray, I think you cant rule Murrays chances out altogether. Anyone facing Khan that can punch will know what will happen if they catch him with a heavy shot.
Yes and people can give it the old "we need to build the fight" all they like, but the problem with that is the fights seldom end up happening. I say throw them in with each other, it doesn't have to be over for the loser if he's good. We could get some decent domestic rivalries going that way, rather just people talking **** after they've knocked over another no-hoper.
I would like to see that fight amir has got a glass jaw and it would get exsposed against murray whos grit and determination could and should be just enough to win the fight
Who's to say Murray can take Khan's shots? The only decent opponent Murray has knocked over is Thaxton, and he was shot to ****..... if Thaxton had been able to hand a big one and Murray took it, fair enough..... but as soon as Jon was wobbled the ref dived straight in and stopped it :-( Murray might be 30-0 or whatever, but his KO ratio isn't anything to write home about, especially against such a weak set of opponents.
murray would be an outsider with khan, thats for sure, but if he can get a win over a frige contender, and look decent doing it, it could be made easier, i think khan would fany the fight more than madiana, thats for sure.
