Im gonna say Jorge by decision... right now anyway.

I think Rocky is officially a gatekeeper for up and coming/recovering guys. Haha but I wouldn't be surprised if Rocky pulls out a KO on Linares who just barely scrapped by shopworn Lorenzo his first fight back from his Tko1 loss.

I honestly am torn on how this fight is gonna play out...

This is out of left field.

Juarez manages to lose to great fighters. The problem is, the jury's still out on Linares. He looked like he might be great before suffering a setback, and I don't want to be one of these naysayers who won't forgive someone getting caught cold - but there's a difference between Linares and people like Khan and Hasegawa. Khan and Hasegawa have proven their greatness (Hasegawa before he got KTFO, and Khan since he got KTFO). Linares still lacks that signature greatness-affirming victory. This would probably be it if he looks impressive. :think

I don't see why it would be a catchweight, since they've both most recently competed at super featherweight. It is listed as a lightweight bout, however. :think

    Is this right(any links)?

Have been wondering what Linares was up to.

    Leaning toward Linares!

    I agree.

If Jorge became the first man to ko Juarez that would deff be a statement to me.

~Jorge has done more in his career than Khan ever has.

Linares will handle Rocky. Late KO or wide UD.

Sorry man, the best names on Jorge's resume were beyond spent when he met them. Khan's isn't lightyears ahead or anything, but his version of MAB still had more left than Linares' version of Larios - and he's now fought three consecutive men in or close to their prime and ranked in the top ten in world title fights.

Jorge certainly can prove himself to be the better talent, but he's got a little work to do to catch up with Khan. Rocky's a step in the right direction.

I don't know about a stoppage for Rocky.

Rocky may be leagues beyond Angel Granados in terms of skill, but he isn't as fast a starter or as dangerous a one-puncher. So a quick blowout is unlikely.

As for the later rounds...well, that's where Rocky tends to get into monotonous grooves where he should be pressing his advantage. Even if Linares gassed, I wouldn't hold my breath on Rocky being able to finish him. Late surges from Juarez are usually brief fizzle-and-pop affairs.

I think he will hurt Jorge early but fall behind on the cards and push for a stoppage late in the fight.
