I think if Floyd is now demanding 55-60%, it came about because Pac agreed to Floyd's 14 day cut-off proposal.

Kinda' like when Pac reportedly signed on to fight Floyd on to the agreement brought over by Arum to Manila on Dec. 7, 2009 only for Floyds team to add in OSDT to their contract on Dec. 11 or 12, 2009.

also, it's kinda' like when Floyd called Winky out, both sides seemed to have agreed to 50-50 but Floyd and Arum requested that their weigh in would be the morning of the fight,.. I guess to make sure Winky doesn't have time hydrate himself.

Even with that handicap, according to an ESPN article written by Steve Kim, Winky's team agreed, Shaw went in to finalize the deal.... Arum said that the split they want is now 55-45. Reportedly, Arum also told Shaw to stop yelling at him about the change because he's just the messenger.

Does three example show a pattern? :think

More like Floyd is demanding more because of how much money his fight with Mosley brought in.

Btw if Winky came out tomorrow and said he accepts the 55/45 split that Mayweather offered 5 years ago would that mean Floyd was ducking for not taking that fight? Or would it be a case of Mayweather expecting the bigger share now because of what has gone on PPV wise since that makes him a bigger draw?

People need to stop getting hung up on what was offered/agreed in January, it's a different set of negotiations with one having a stronger hand than he had back then.

Then why don't you do a survey and find out who more people want to see in this fight, Floyd or Pac or if they fight who more people in the venue are there to see, Floyd or Pac. I will never forget when Manny fought Hatton, the same day the Celtics closed out the Bulls in 7 games they did a post interview with Eddie House and he was interviewed with Cheryl Miller I think and he was short answering her and she asked what was wrong and I will never forget he said he wanted to hurry up, get dressed and go watch the fight at Garnett house and after that Barkely said he had Tivo'ed the fight on his DVR and Reggie Miller said he did also. If you don't think people don't wanna see Manny as much as they wanna see Floyd then ur only fooling yourself son.

Floydettes are justifying that 60/40 for Floyd, a guaranteed deal breaker isn't ducking the fight.

There is no logical argument for a 50-50 split.

There was no logical argument for a 50-50 split when they were first negotiating, but Mayweather agreed to it because he was desperate to get the fight made.

After 1.4 million buys compared to 600K for Pacquiao in their last fight, it would be INSANITY for Mayweather to agree to 50-50. 60-40 is actually generous for Pacquiao considering Mayweathers sold MORE THAN DOUBLE in his last fight, not to mention he sold more Vs EVERY mutual opponent they've had.

It's the biggest purse Pacquiao will ever make in this sport, so why won't he agree to it?

Pac has accomplished more, although most of his fights are catchweight he is indeed moving up. Not only that, he's not only beating his opponents but DEMOLISHING them. Floyd has just been fighting old men :/.

You gotta beat the best to be the best.

  12. 1 out of 56 = most? :nut

If that so, I guess most of Floyd's fight is also at a catchweight then.

yea he should get a bigger slice...BUT...60/40....thats just blaspheme...Pac deserves more than that

my guess if this is true is that its just Floyd being FLoyd...it will end up a close cut wit him taking bigger share

What? I'm not talking about throughout manny's career, I'm talking about the recent ones where he is moving up....
