I hope it ain't in same arena as Dirrell-Abraham. Cos i noticed on fight camp 360 if you freeze the screen during the highlighted action you can see empty seats. I think this fight deserves a better arena. Abraham wasn't to happy with it being so small. Dirrell isn't a big draw but Ward brings good numbers and i think if we actually get a decent super six fight undercard then we see full house. Noticed the undercards a woeful..Klitschko style ****.

    Ward UD.

Dirrell can't (or won't) fight on the inside and doesn't like it rough and I feel that's exactly how Ward will approach the fight. Get inside and rough him up and bully Dirrell. I think that Dirrell loses focus slightly or can get knocked off his game when roughed up which would play into Ward's hands. Ward has the tools (speed, skills, athleticism) and the smarts to get it on the inside or indeed take the fight wherever he wants it, unlike Froch and Abraham, who ended up chasing Dirrell and being picked off.

Ward could feasibly stop Dirrell. If he keeps on top of him I could see Dirrell throwing himself down constantly and basically opting out.

That's True. I mean Ward loves to impose his will on you. I like this kid. 100% what a champion should be.

I saw a clip on the primetime preview a slo mo of Ward hitting Kessler. He doesn't actually clinch fist all of the time when he punches. I heard Raul Caiz tell him to close glove. Maybe that's a reason why he doesn't get power as well as not sitting fully on his shots.

Might want that speed. Ward is fast but he isn't RJJ fast plus people forget RJJ was crazy fast with body numbing power.

yeah i think your right. He never really sets himself...he looks to unload and then get out of fire and reload. He uses that extensive amateur pedigree to the maximum.

Ward vs Bute would be interesting if Ward goes on to win it, which, when matching him stylistically against every option, I thnk he will. Nothing can be rules out of course.

Just don't like Dirrell. I honestly think his grandpa has forced him into it to make up for his own shortcomings. Dirrell has displayed some pretty worrying traits.

Mandanda - how do you see a Froch-Ward fight playing out. I know you're a fan of Carl as well. I've heard alot of people on here and in various places since Saturday thinking Froch beats him....

Personally i don't see Ward losing a round to Froch, i think its a tremendously easy fight for him. Froch can't fight on the inside for one, and if its fought at range Ward will thoroughly outbox him, far too quick and sharp and generally too good for his plodding style. I think Carl's power is over-rated at this level too so i can't conceivably see any way he even tests Ward.

Not excited by this fight, they are friends and defensive fighters which will probably result in a boring decision.

The appeal of the super six so far has been the Europe and US rivalry and the Froch v Kessler fight, which was a great clash of styles.

The only thing in its favour is that Dirrell needs a win and Ward won't want to lose his unbeaten record.

But i don't think it will be easy on the eye, hope im wrong though as ill still watch it.

This fight has "who knows??" written all over it. This is not an easy fight to pick and not an easy fight for whoever wins!!! I think this fight is a treat. the 2 most skilled guy's in the division going at it. Dirrell has a complete bag of tools too but with alot of POP in his punches. With his speed if he catches Ward rushing in I can see Ward hitting the canvas..................The winner, I just don't know. I wonder what the line will be?? Dead even or Ward a slight fav.
