The 2007 version, who possesses some of the greatest skills ever seen and is physically faded but still very capable or the still immensely skilled 2002ish version who was also a physical monster back then (faster, stronger, more power, better reflexes)?

Which kind of fighters do you see physical and mental peak Calzaghe doing better against than each other?

    2002 version by premature stoppage!

Nah, jk. 2007 adjusts to win a UD after losing the early rounds.

Kalzagee 2002 thought he could KO anyone. 2007 Kalzaghe knows he can't KO everyone. He's developed his movements better and still has the same resolute old chin. One thing's for sure:

This would be a ****ing war!!!

Haven't a clue. But it dose highlight the difference of Joe as a fighter now as opposed to the one who beat Mitchell.

Btw-CHJ your just loving this!! :rofl

I think Calzaghe would knock himself out. If Kessler could stun him...

I think mental peak Calzaghe would frustrate and outplay physical peak Calzaghe to a narrow UD...

There's no way it would be a UD! Calzaghe hasn't fought anyone except bums so how would that prepare him for a p4p legend!?!?

Physical peak Calzaghe was still mentally strong and would win a close UD

For what it's worth, JC says he is better now than 5 years ago...a better all-round fighter...he says he has learnt many new tricks and has become much moe experienced and it shows! He is slowing down a bit now but slowly enough to maintain him as the fastest by quite a margin...meanwhile, he gets more and more experienced, wise and tricky...and mentally strong!

(Calzaghe may now slowly start to climb down from his peak - but that peak was reached recently, not close to five years ago...)

If young Calzaghe were around today, he'd claim he was better.

Indeed...and "old" Calzaghe would KNOW that he ("old" Calzaghe) was better!

I think old Calzaghe would psyche young Calzaghe out at the weigh in. Too much confidence,
