Anybody Got Any News On Kelly Pavlik?

The most illogical thing for KP would be to him in there against a boxer/runner like Andre Dirrell. Therefore, look for Dirrell vs. Pavlik at 168 when the super 6 tournament is finished. KP has one of the dumbest management teams I've ever seen.

 

I guess you haven't followed boxing for very long. Cameron Duncan and Bob Arum are "dumb?"atsch

 

I figured the guy was a druggie from Detroit and didn't bother with him. Loew told people not to discount Dirrell before the first fights of the tourney. I guess that makes him dumb. I guess taking on take fights that are an actual challenge makes them dumb. 36-2 (32KO) and the lineal middle weight championship makes them dumb. We see who is in the game making millions of dollars and who pounds a keyboard on an internet forum... He isn't even good enough to be a 'wanna be'. Even that dream is above his station in life.

 

How is that any different from you?

 

Hopefully he's working on his head and lateral movement along with his feints.

 

Hopefully he will be moving up to 168 sooner than later.

You have a problem that has nothing to do with Pavlik's training methods or who he works with. If Pavlik moves to 175, we won't see Pavlik/Bute anytime soon, and you object to that. I can't blame you for wanting to see that fight. Just like 5 of the 6 guys in the tourney, Lucian looked great beating up Pavlik's left overs.

 

Keep pavlik smashing up forward moving plodders , get his money up !

One fighter , come on a like pavlik he's a canny guy and a liked his fights but he really sucks agaisnt moving people like martinez & b-hop

keep him against brawlers & plodders get himself a few titles and more money , sorted !

 

I've been sorting through some old Pavlik fights and one thing that struck me was that he was actually very fast. In the Martinez fights those right hands were slow, lethargic and telegraphed...I really hope he can get that pop back.

In regards to Pavlik's personal life I don't know what to believe...there is some damning comments on the Vindy mostly involving him and alcohol, getting carried to he's car etc

Hey boo does Pavlik read ESB? I know he's said he likes to check the sites but he's never been specific.

 

Pavlik is a sad story in boxing. I was really behind him after he beat Miranda.
