Any of you guys hit your trainer square on in the face or body by accident? Ie - he tells you to throw jab, hook and you throw jab, hook, right hand (BANG in his face)? Kinda weird topic I know but i'm strange like that. I always think about it. Also when I'm shadow boxing I always see how close I can get to his face with my punches, haha.. he gets mad.
Would be funny if you did actually hit him and he knocked you out :rofl Seriously though, this kinda makes you sound like an *******. Why would you even think about smacking your trainer in the face when he's helping you train?
LOL.. I said "by accident" my dude.. Sometimes my body naturally throws the next punch in the combo, as if I'm on autopilot. So if i've throw a jab, right hand, my body will start throwing a hook. Just because I've been through the combo's so many times on the mitts with him it is second nature and my body is doing "what it feels". I don't actually intend to hit him. Also occaisionally he will tell me to throw a combo but miss the last punch. I would never deliberately hit him!
Take it easy tough guy, its called sharing a joke. Some people have fun with their trainer whilst they work out. We are good friends outside the gym.
So because I don't find it funny that you enjoy nearly punching your trainer in the face I'm a tough guy? Makes sense.
yeah hit my trainer to the body on a pad session we were working on my right uppercuts and one flew on by ,sore one ha,had my gf at the gym once ,was on the floor to ceiling ball meant to throw a one, two, left hook, right hand but i missed the left hook and caught her square in the nose ha she shouldnt have been standing so close though
No, the "tough guy" was sarcastic bro. Lighten up. If anyone has some funny stories to share please feel free. Virus please feel free to share your woes :rofl
Yes I have. My old trainer died in March, I would not have done that with him. Our new trainer is a younger guy though, and he actually spars with some of us. He tried to take me out with liver punches so every time he threw it I countered it with a right hand. Hit him with a right uppercut that bloodied up his nose a little. He did not care though, he's a boxer after all.
I've had punches deflect off the pad into his face. Bloodied my first coach's lip with a right hand haha.
I've asked my trainer before and he said if he gets hit its his own fault and he should be able to spot them coming!
Not by accident, plenty of times in sparring I did get caught with the top of a pad right on my eyebrow before though atsch
